Well, is it possible?

How about a Acura TL's V6 into a 4?

  1. Unless the engineers designed an engine to turn off cylinders, you will

still be feeding them with gas and air whether you explode it or not. This

is a design feature which must be built in by the designers.

  2. Anything can be done, it just requires money. What you're talking about would probably very expensive, seeing as the engine bays on the Chargers are very large and a 4 cylinder engine is not. Also, it would be incredibly slow and sluggish, even for daily driving, unless you used forced induction (turbocharge, supercharge, etc). The charger is a very heavy car and needs power to make all that weight move. Go to a local gear head shop and I'm sure they could give you an estimate though. They WILL laugh at you though, be prepared lol

  3. h**l no.

Even if you could, a four cylinder wouldn't even move it.  The car is too heavy.
