Can you cook a frozen hamburger?

or do you have to thaw it out a bit? Do I just pan fry it?

its best to thaw but you can heat it frozen

i grill frozen ones and they come out ok

Yes you can fry a frozen hamburger. Restraunts do it all the time. Just do it on medium heat to start, that way you can make sure it will cook thru and thru. When it has thawed in your pan, take a knife and pierce the middle so that it will cook the center. Enjoy!

fry it slower than if it were thawed.  They tend to shrink more if you fry from frozen, especially if you do it quickly.  Actually, if you had it out of the freezer on a plate on the counter the few minutes it took to ask this question, it will already be a bit thawed so go fry your hamburger.

you can cook it straight from the freezer,

but it will taste better if you thaw it out for a bit first

You don't have to thaw it out. Just fry it, and make sure the middle is cooked.

Nuke it for about 3 minutes on High and then finish it in the pan, turning one time about 2 minutes each side for medium.
