Can you copy standard DVDs to Blu-Ray?

Unless you're doing it for the benefit of putting multiple standard-def movies on one disc, it really wouldn't be worth the effort. The resolution would not increase just by puting it on Blu-Ray (in t he same way a VCR tape won't get better by recordng it to DVD).

You could do it but it would be like copying a DVD to a VHS tape. Your result is a lower quality product.

You can copy the content of a DVD to a Blu-ray disc, but it probably won't work the way you're expecting it to.

you can but it would not enhance the quality whatsoever and the blank blu-ray discs are pretty expensive not to mention its illegal
