well my friend said that you can for xbox, but i want to know if you can for wii. and can you upload extra songs too?

  1. No, custom characters are only available on Xbox 360 and PS3. On the Wii version, characters are pre-set to songs.

    No, you can not upload or download other songs.

    The only way to get other songs is to buy Track Packs. They are about $30 and come with 20 songs. This is Harmonix's "alternative" for downloadable content.

    On Rock Band 2 however, you can upload the songs from Rock Band into the game which is nice.
