I'd really rather not type the same thing over and over again when I update my blog, and if it's possible, i know what I'll use, but I don't know how to set it up.

  1. Why would you want to? It's a blog, not an email. Just put anything repetitive in the shout box or a banner, not in the blog itself.

Extreme cases of signatures in your blog might even get your blog flagged as having "duplicate content" in which case you won't show up on the search engines anymore, and will have fewer readers.

If your current blog doesn't allow you to have a footer line where you can put your signature, you might want to have a look at WordPress. I just recently finished a step-by-step tutorial on how to set one up for free, with no ads even. Just sign in as a guest if you want to take a peek...

  2. No. Not automatically and easily like the email signature is. Sorry. :-(

You could copy and paste an HTML signature from another source. If you are interested, you can either create it and find a "web host" server like ranchoweb .com or Photobucket .com, up load your signature to their server, then use the HTML code they give you to copy and paste it into your blog after clicking on the "show HTML" box above your blog.

Another thing you could do, is google the signature you want and see the things that come up. I've seen some sites that have many signatures in many different styles. All you have to do is copy and paste the HTML into your blog area after clicking on the "show HTML" box above your blog.
