Can you create double vision?

Yes by placing your finger in front of your eyes say about a foot away and look stright beyond your finger you can see your finger double.

I have strabismus and can easily make my vision double.  It also doubles when I do not want it to as well.

Me too, when I was a kid I used to make my alarm clock lights "double" for fun :D

Yes, that's quite easy for a lot of people.

Physiological diplopia is also used for a variety of training exercises:

hold a pen vertically at arm's length, and another at half arm's length.  Line them up.  One or other wiil be double (if you can use two eyes at the same time: not everybody can) and by changing attention, you can shift the doubling from one pen to the other .
