OK, first you can only create energy by destroying matter. Second, what has water filtration got to do with global warming?

Are you suggesting that carbonates in sea-water can be removed so as to sequester the carbon and allow the water to absorb more carbon dioxide?

If so, it's an intriguing idea, but I'd have to reject completely your mechanistic approach to implementation. There are simpler ways to remove carbon from the biosphere than generating terrawatts of electricity to power massive filtration plants.
