Can you cross the border togo in to Tijuana?

I know what you mean, and yes you can.  You'll cross by way of a big bridge where people are selling  lots of knick knacks. You'll probably need an ID of some sort--birth certificate is a good choice.  Once you get there you'll see lots of taxis that are willing to take you to wherever you please.  I'm not sure how long you can legally stay in Tijuana.  I assume just long enough to look at the touristy stuff.  On the way back, after you cross the bridge, you'll get into the line for U.S. citizens.  There's another line that I think is for Mexican citizens with border crossing permits.  Anyway, you're supposed to tell the officer what you did and if you have any items to declare.  At least that how I remember crossing to Tijuana a few years ago.

Yes you can. All you do is go to the border, cross the bridge and voila! You are in Mexico. You don't need a pasport to cross the border, but you will need an ID or birth certificate to come back. It's all pretty fast, unless there's a lot of people on the line to get back to the states, good luck!
