  1. While it's possible, it's not recommended for 2 reasons...(a) because they're so small, all you'd do is crush them, and (b) they're not meant to be cut.

Since they ARE so small, why would you want to cut them?  They're NOT hard to take (I always joke they could be lost in a cavity!).  But if you are having trouble, talk to your doctor about the shot, Nuva Ring or a new type of chewable BCP.

EDIT: if your s*x drive has declined, then ask to be switched to a different form of the pill.

If you're using it for contraception, messing with it in any way (cutting it, or skipping doses) will leave you vulnerable to pregnancy.

  2. Only if you want to get pregnant.Your doubling your chances of getting pregnant if you cut in half-its like taking them every other day.,j

  3. Yes you CAN(possible)  - But YOU MAY NOT (permission) birth control pills work on time release and to break or cut them will mess up the process.

  4. No; you cannot cut them in 2.

you wouldn't be covered AT ALL.

  5. No, you cannot cut BC pills at all.  You will not be at the right hormonal levels to prevent pregnancy.  If you are trying it to save money, Planned Parenthood or your regular health insurance should cover most of the cost.
