Does anyone know if its illegal / against highway code? I know trucks / vans can drive down there sometimes, but have seen community support officers taking down details of cyclists on Market St in the past.

  1. It is the same as any other "pedestrianised" area. If you cycle during the road closure order times you are breaking the law. All CPO's should be issued with solid steel rods to throw into the spokes of any cyclist riding during these times! The same method of dealing with these road rats ( they are niether licensed or insured) by the general public should be applauded not prosecuted

  2. Just run them down and anybody else that gets in your way.

  3. I don't know the area but any restriction should be signed at the beginning of the restriction.

Often vans and cars are allowed to enter pedestrianised streets for loading, the restriction sign will usually say "except for loading"

  4. No you can't ride on the pedestrianised areas...you must dismount...either that or ignore the PCSO's..ride off and shout.."get a proper job you timewasters" like most others do!
