Me & my older sister were going through boxes of photos at my mom's house because she just reccently passed away. We came across two photos with weird figures in them and the figures are like a gray mist and they are not a human. So what are they? These photos are from the 1920's.

  1. Why are you lying?  You post these pictures with a phony story about finding them when they are well known pictures that are all over the internet.  Did you think you could trick people and they would think the pictures were more believable because of your pathetic lies?  Don't you realize lying liars like you are what is keeping reasonable people from giving the paranormal any credibility?  Hope your happy.

  2. get a life sista...

  3. the first picture seems rather old, in those days in order to get a good picture you need to sit still and let the light really "soak" into the film, if you sat down for a second or two, and than walked away you can create an effect like that vary easily, thats how the first one can be explained.(you can do this when taking modern photos by giving the camera a vary low shutter speed)

the second one could be one of two things, either theres just some gunk on the lens(happens to my eyeglasses all the time), or notice all the bright spots in the picture lights being reflected quite a bit, the light spot on the picture could be the light reflecting off the lens.

but remember that the argument from ignorance is not a logical conclusion. what i mean is that simply being unable to explain what something is in a photo does NOT automatically mean its a ghost or anything like that, all it means is that you don't know whats up with that photo.

  4. i can't debunk them. the figures have to be spirit people.

  5. Those pictures are famous photos on the internet. Are you sure they aren't reprints?

Watch this video, it contains the pictures: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEISGZ4Fq...

  6. They are really cool and i think they look like real ghosts..

  7. valadent... wow u have been a paranormal investigator for 6 years, that's fascinating. Just curious as to what you have seen and investigated?? Have u ever come across the giant marshmallow man from ghost busters? can i hire u to investigate who stole the cookies from my cookie jar as i keep them in a safe and only a ghost could have taken them..Have u thought about getting a real job and perhaps giving up on childish games.....its just a thought.

  8. Image 1 could be the "ink" of the old photo wearing away. You would have to take it to a photo expert to get definitive answers. Image 2 is one of the most famous photo's of a ghost. And both are human. They would have to be demons.

  9. Nice guy is right.

  10. The way they did ghost photos way back when, is they used to use glass plates. They would make a double exposure, there was a photographer that started that right around the time that Abraham Lincoln died.  He made one for Mary Todd Lincoln.  There are real ones, but due to the many phonies and photoshop, it is hard to tell anymore.

  11. I know they're fake

  12. The first picture I've never seen.the second is the Brown Lady of Raynham. It's been debunked many times.By skeptics and Paranormal enthusiasts. If a ghost "expert" tells you differently. That's a good sign they don't know what they're talking about.

  13. Yes.  Both are famous photographs of "ghosts".

The first is Lord Combermere's Ghost.  It was taken in 1891 by Sybell Corbet during Lord Combermere's funeral.

The second is the Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, taken in 1936 by Captain Provand and Indre Shira.  Here are two stories about it:

So, perhaps the photos were copies kept for interest.

  14. Actually, these photos have been authenticated throughout history by many various photography experts. Sorry, you're not going to get anyone to debunk those and be right about it.

  15. I've seen those photos on many sites on the internet. They are well known fakes.

  16. oh my h**l. those have been seen everywhere on the internet and they have already been debunked. grow a bigger imagination kid.

  17. Just because a skeptic said something is a hoax but doesn't provide proof or just because something could be a hoax doesnt mean that it is. the answer is they may be what they appear but i dont think anyone can prove they are hoaxes beyond a shadow of doubt so enjoy them if you want to.

  18. OMG! THE FIRST PHOTO THE GUY HAS NO LEGS! That is odd considering in 1920 there was no photoshop because photoshop did not appear until 1990. Crazzzzzzy. #2 is weird too. I don't know. I sat ghost!

  19. Both of those pictures are famous double exposures.  "spirit" photographs were actually common from the time Photography really started to spread in the late nineteenth century through the twenties.  Most of them were fakes, usually with  documented methods.  The second one I know has been republished and debunked in books.  I believe both have been on the web for a while, but I don't remember the addresses.

  20. Your full of it, those pictures have been around for a while, and be happy I am not the author of the book you took those from because I would sue your ***.

  21. First of all you are a liar. Second of all you are a liar.

Those are famous photos and no relation to YOU!!
