Can you define a horse whisperer? and what it takes?

Hey.. I watch some of these pro horse trainer guys on TV.I can't believe what they can do with the horses.. Can anyone tell me how I can become someone like that? Can you define what a horse whisperer truly is? I want to get closer to my horse.. But can girls do it? it seems like men are always the horse whisperers... thanks for your help

Horse whispering is just basically reading a horse. Horses don't speak with voices, but by how they are standing, their motions, and their eyes/ears. You just have to pay attention to your horse. They use a lot of body language. There are plenty of books and videos that explain body language and different ways horses express themselves.  And, absolutely a girl can be a horse whisperer. Like I said, all it is is reading a horse's body. Any person willing to take time and learn can do it.

A true whisperer is born and not made, you can only learn so much and the rest is just instinct. The best way is to just sit and watch them for hours, this way you learn to "read" them. How they are feeling and why. Wishing you all the best.

youd have to learn to understand each horses specific body language to see what its "saying"

girls are more moody and pissy thats why some really even tempered guys tend to be more famous for this stuff but check out girls like stacy westfall...you cant really learn it, but you can get closer to your horse just by getting to know it more so you can predict its every behavior
