Can you delete a wireless network from an iPhone?

Out of curiosity I allowed it to add the network when I was at the Barnes and Noble. Once you are on it you are directed to the AT&T webpage where you are supposed to pay for the service.

Well now every time I am in the area, which is often, it switches to that network and I cannot continue on the internet. How can I delete a network I said yes to once?

  1. I have an iPod touch, and i had the same problem. You have to go to "Settings" on your home screen, go to Wi-Fi, then, when you are near that network, and the network comes up, tap the arrow(Surrounded by a blue circle) on the right side of the bar(With the network name on it), and at the top of the next page, it should say "Forget this Network."

Tap it. A warning sign should come up saying, "Forget (Network name goes here) to stop automatically joining this network?" Tap on "Forget Network", and as it said before, it will stop automatically connecting to that network.

Do this and the AT&T network should be forgotten, but you can always get back on if you need to. It will just disconnect you from it for then.

Usually, all networks you join are recognized whenever you are near them if you have connected with it before.

    Hope I helped!!!!
