Can you delete things from under your name on the internet?

I know little about computers. I am wondering if there is a way to delete things that show up when my name is googled. ALso, is there a way to see if anyone has been googling me, and is it possible to find out who is doing the googling? Cheers!

For most search engines, they just tell you the pages that you have been found on.

So you would have to go to each individual site with your name mentioned and contacted the Web Master of that site to get your name off.

Google itself will not release search histories, so no you can not find out who has been searching for you.
