Can you delete your yahoo 360 account????

Well like it says above is it possible to delete your yahoo 360 account nd if so how???? I really need to know

You can't delete a 360 account because it is INCLUDED in your Yahoo account. You could delete your WHOLE Yahoo account but then you would lose everything else you have associated with that account as well. Email account, yahoo photo albums..etc. etc. And if you dont remove EVERYTHING off of your 360 page BEFORE you delete your WHOLE Yahoo account...then it will still be there.

The only thing you can do if you don't want the 360 page anymore is this:

Remove EVERYTHING off of the page. All blogs, feeds, reviews, pictures, any information that you typed into it (profile info, lists). Delete all friends, change settings for EVERYTHING that has a setting to PRIVATE/JUST ME. Change your nickname to all *'s...unactivate the URL to the page, in YAHOO IDENTITY DISPLAY choose the FIRST option so that it no longer links to your Yahoo ID. . Make sure that you DON'T have the box that says to allow your name/email address to be entered into a search bar so that people can find your page that way. Click SAVE and never go to it again.

Unfortunately, you cannot delete a Yahoo! 360 account. It's linked to your primary Yahoo! ID. If you want to keep your Yahoo! ID for things like Mail, IM, Answers, etc. then you'll need to hide your 360.

There are a few different ways to do this,

1) Select the "Settings" option at the upper right of your 360 page and change all of you settings to 'Private'. This hides the majority of your content, if someone stumbles onto your page.

2) Perform option #1 and then select the first "Display Me As" option on the Settings page. Now your profile doesn't link to your 360 page. Also, UNcheck the "Activate Simple URL" setting and the "Friend Search" setting. This way people cannot guess your 360 page by sticking your yahoo id onto the end of 360.yahoo.com or searching for you by name or email address.

3) Perform options #1 and #2 and then delete your friends by selecting the "My Friends" link in the upper right of your 360 page. Select "Edit Settings" on a friend's name, then select "Remove <friend> from your Friends Page". Finally, delete all of your content, blogs, links to pictures, lists, reviews, etc. This pretty much makes your 360 inaccessible and/or unusable by anyone who happens to get there.

Go to the top of the page and click the link Account.. and delete the entire account that the 360 is under..

That is the only way to completely rid yourself of the 360 that is in that account!

It all goes.. or none of it goes!

It is the way  Yahoo has it set up and there is no way to delete just one part of the account.. you must delete the entire thing or none of it..

What you can do is go to the 360 page and click onto the settings link in your toolbar and put everything on the Private only me setting and no one will be able to see anything you have posted there.
