Can you deposit a check into your account through the ATM? What do you have to do?

You can do this at many ATMs now, but not all.

Follow the instructions on screen, usually starting with 'other services' option or something similiar. Some ATMs will then dispense an envelope for you to put the cheque in & then you put that in the machine. Some others inside a banking hall have a pile of envelopes for you to use.

If you are at all unsure, go inside your bank & ask them to help you the 1st time, then you will be ok in the future.

It depends on which bank you go to. But some banks such as BECU have a little deposit drawer in the ATM. I know WAMU has one too but only in a few ATM's and they won't get deposited until the bank is open on the next business day.

Yes. You might have to put it inside an envelope like at the wamu atms i go to.
