  3. Grand Lake O' The Cherokee's (Oklahoma).  It is a large man made lake that bustling with resorts, large and small boats and a myriad of great water lovers.  The fishing is amazing with it's large and small mouth bass.   Grand Lake offers something for everyone....even those with the most discriminating budget.  Come and visit Grand Lake and....bring your furniture!

  5. Upper Sand Creek Lake

In the Wet Mountains of Colorado, elevation near 9000 feet.  Only access is via back-packing seven miles.  Beautiful clear blue water with cutthroat trout, surrounded by pine tree forest with small babbling brooks feeding the lake from melting snows on nearby mountain peaks.  There is a small glacier on one side in the shadow of a steep rising cliff.  The only sounds are the echos of your voice and the flow of the water in the streams.

  6. Lake Moraine. It's outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. However, when it is full, it is a beautiful shade of blue. The area around the lake has several walking/hiking trails, which are from time to time, restricted because of grizzly bear activity. I live in Canada. I went to Alberta a few times and everytime i go there i will visit the lake because my grandma lives in a nearby village.
