  1. My 5th grade history teacher Mr. Ready was amazing

He made history fun and we all loved it that year ^_^

He was so sweet and a very fair teacher and grader

He influenced our whole class by making us more into history and even school. We were actually excited to go to school every day :D

  2. The teachers who had the most influence on me were at two very different points in my education.

The first was Mrs. Balloon. She was my 3rd grade teacher.  Back then 3rd grade was when they taught cursive and I had a horrible time with it, but she always encouraged me to keep trying.  There was a prize for learning to write neatly in cursive and it was a fountain pen.  Not fancy but really nice for 9 year old kids. She made sure I got mine before the end of the year.  She told me it wasn't because my handwriting was so neat but because I never quit trying.  To this day I don't quit trying.

The next teacher who had great influence over me was my senior American Problems teacher, Mr. Cortez.  This was a civics class and the only required subject our senior year.  He taught the college bound students.  He told us at the beginning of the year that we would all pass but it was up to us what grade we would pass with.  He only gave 70, 80, 90, or 100.  He did not like  averaging and would not do it.  To earn grades we had to do our homework, read and learn how to think.  The last one was the hardest.  By the time you are a senior in high school you know the best answer to any question a teacher asks is to parrot the words they used.  Mr.Cortez would say when you did this "whatever that means".  Then he would tell you to think about your answer and to put it into your own words.  This led to interesting discussions about the constitution, voting rights, gun control and the Vietnam War.  I can't remember what my final grade was but I still know how to think for myself.

If you can read this thank a teacher.

  3. My high school algebra teacher.  I was afraid of algebra, but her first words to the class were, "You're going to learn algebra or you're going to die trying."  She was very calm and steady, never a shouter.  She made me sit up and think, "Yes, I am going to learn algebra!" Most importantly, she presented the lesson, then gave us about 15 minutes to work on our homework in class.  I'd never raise my hand to ask a question during class (too shy), but I could go to her desk several times during this homework time to ask her questions quietly.  This is how a poor math student (me) actually learned algebra.  I made straight A's in this class and I'll never forget her.

  4. Kay Davies English

Very Helpful and made my studies interesting

she was very pleasant and always willing to assist all her students lovely lady

  5. tatum. third grade general teacher.  she never let the other kids make fun of me because my family was poor and i had to wear my clothes until they were gross.  i was the smelly ugly poor kid.  but she woul dnot allow anyone to make fun of me sh etold everyone i had a special job and some days i had to work harder.  she didn't have a great influence just on me it was my entire 30 person class we learned how to grow and strive with allowing differences separate us.

  6. Yes.

This teacher didn't necessarily "teach" me but rather showed me how to learn.  I did the rest myself.

This "teacher" was a wonderful woman who instead allowed me to find my own routine.  Any teacher can sit you down, and make you read, or calculate a distance. This person showed me I am my own teacher. I found my strengths and weaknesses.  I worked on the weak areas to improve myself.

  7. she/he always picks you always gives you privliges and always lets you do things ect
