  1. I'll have a stab at it, although I may be wrong.

    Basically crime and deviance (I assume that you don't mean purely materialistic crime like stealing bread to eat it) is cause by alienation. People are disempowered by capitalism, they are alienated from the things they produce, some people, who aren't employed, therefore don't produce anything are completely alienated from society. Deviance is a way of taking control of something by deliberately breaking the rules imposed by capitalistic society, By disobeying they are rejecting their servitude and empowering themselves. It's important to note that deviance is inherently individualistic in nature, me vs the world. Of course a Marxist would prefer to harness alienation and use it to fuel collective action rather than individual deviance which they would see as inevitably self-destructive.
