  1. Ok well this is a very general plan but to keep your metabolism up, eat something every 2-3 hours. Instead of big meals have like breakfast at 8am, a snack at 11am, lunch at 2pm, dinner at 5pm, and if you need another snack at 8pm. Go jogging 3 times a week for 30 mins. Also, every other day do 5 sets of 10 squats, 10 sets of 20 crunches, small hand weights, try like 5 sets of 15, and push ups, as many as you can do. Increase the number of reps as you get better♥ Good luck!

  2. I know you're hoping for a more personalized plan, but you may want to check this site out.  Don't worry, it's not selling some dumb miracle supplement or gimmick workout, it's just solid information.  There's a lot there.

Just to let you know, based on your question:

    1) The best way to burn calories is to build muscle.  There probably isn't a big chance you'll end up looking like some bulky bodybuilder type, so don't be afraid to lift weights and build muscle.

    2) While you shouldn't be killing yourself exercising, the most effective cardio is high-intensity, but the good news is that you only need to do it for 20-30 minutes...no spending a whole boring hour on a treadmill.

    3) As for your trouble spots, there is no way to spot-reduce.  However, building muscle will tone your thighs and your tummy can be reduced with help of diet.

Like I said, don't worry...it's not selling anything, you don't need to buy any book.
