Can you die from a seizure?

idk if you can die from a seizure itself but I've heard of people having seizures in their sleep and suffocating in their pillow.

whats more dangerous in a seizure is what you're doing when it happens. seizures that are controlled should not be a cause to worry. some seizures may last longer than others and can lead to brain damage if there's prolonged absence of oxygen in the brain.

What will kill is driving and causing an accident, or bumping your head on a hard surface when you fall, and even drowning if you happen to be in the water or tub when it happens.
