can someone die from taking 8-9 excedrins ( at the same time)

I would say the chance of dying is not likely, but you may get sick.  Why would you want to do such a thing?  Hun, if you need to talk to someone and this is an emergency, please call 1-800-SUICIDE.

Excedrin comes in six different formulations.You are causing irreversible liver damage especially if you have alcohol in you system while taking these. There are two types of over dosage acute and chronic. The dosages you have described reflect chronic over dosage. The mortality rate for chronic over dosage is as high as 25%. In short; you are killing yourself. You may get away with this for months or even years, but it is slowly killing your liver and shortening your life.

Call your local poison control center and ask them. Ask any ER or CCM doctor and they will tell you the same thing.

I have seen many patients admitted with seizures, coma, and organ failure who thought that if two pills were good then 10 must be even better. You've been lucky so far. Quit while you are ahead.

Follow the directions!!! They are there for a reason.
