I know how you feel.  Just take your time and one day you will finally meet someone you can hold and spend time with. You just have to be patient. Try hanging out with friends. Maybe they can hook you up with a blind date. you don't nessesarily have to be lonley. And no you can't die from lonliness.

Who doesn't want someone to hold and spend time with. I loved everyday that I have someone like that, but when you get used to it, it gets soo lonely just like now, but loneliness is just a state of mind that is difficult to fight.

Yes, the average lifespan of a lonely person is much lower. You won't be motivated to take care of yourself and will not be as robust and healthy. Maybe hug a stuffed animal.

Yes you can die.  It's all a frame of mind.  There's been research where say an old man was told by a doctor that he has cancer and has 1 month to live.  He dies within a week and the autopsy determined that he didn't die of anything but natural causes.  Why did this happen?  Because this guy gave up so easily and was so ready to die that he ended up committing  suicide using his mind.  True story based on true research of what you've asked above.

Will you die naturally because you're lonely.  Probably not.  But if you willed yourself to die because you didn't want to be lonely anymore...I'm sure you'd succeed.

Hi. I am sitting here wondering the same exact thing. My heart is breaking I am so lonely. My boyfriend of two years and I had a fight a month ago and he wont talk to me,despite my attempts to make amends.

Actually, a close friend of mine died from an especially bad case of loneliness last year.

Not unless you kill yourself. The weirdest thing I've heard about people dying from any emotion has to do with elderly people. Once you've fulfilled everything you wanted to do with your life and are content and ready to pass away, you can actually will yourself to.

At least that's what I've heard.
