Can you disconnect the Heat Light on a 2000 Polaris Trail Boss 325?

I just recently purchased a 2000 Polaris Trail Boss 325 and the heat light was coming on and then dimming the lights. I took it in to have a diagnostic run on it. Apparently there is nothing wrong with the quad itself the fan works, thermostat, sensor is good etc. So I was wondering if there is a way to just disconnect the heat light so that it does not dim my lights at night.

Yes you can just follow the blueprint,aka manule,you'll find that wire ,but I woudent do it,because if it really does over heat,you'll ruin your engine
