Can you disprove this please?

"the difference of any two whole numbers is always a whole number"

i know you can disprove it cuz im supposed to find how in my homework its just that i cant think of what it could be! (i think that whole numbers are all counting numbers, both positive and negative, right?)

  1. It will be something lame, like "the difference between 5 and 5 is 0, which is not a whole number." Something stupid like that.


  2. whole numbers are numbers 0-infinity.

    they are only positive.

    and its not true because you could disprove it by saying 2-3.

    because that = -1 and -1 is not a whole number.
