I just go a refund check from extra scholarships. Hypothetically speaking, can you do anything with that money. It's going in my checking account. Although I don't plan on just spending it shopping or whatever...I just want to know if I could be able to.

Don't jump and accuse me of doing something wrong. But can you?

  1. It's your choice what you do with the scholarship money. (Just be responsible). I received a couple thousand dollars in scholarship money. They were just checks so I put them in my savings. I used this money to pay for my books, a computer, and dorm necessities. I have no financial support from my family and I was making minimum wage from my job. Therefore, without the scholarship money I wouldn't have been able to afford the things I needed for college.

No one's going to demand to know what you did with the money. It's up to you to use it towards the things you need.

  2. Yes, that money was awarded to you for living expenses as well as courses.

  3. Yes, you can for it's for your schooling.  Most probably, that extra money is for you to buy books. But then, you simply put that extra money in the bank so that when you have a chance to encounter your GOOD SAMARITAN provider, out of the money you put in the bank, you can buy something for him/her.

Good luck and take care. GOD BLESS THE CHILD.
