I will be visiting Barcelona shortly and am wondering is it possible to do a day trip to Porta Ventura theme park?

What is the best way to get there and how much does it cost?

Is 1 day enough time for this theme park?

  1. If you get there when the gates open and leave late, you will get it all done comfortably ;-)

We stayed as late as we could, and towards the end of the day it dies down and its a perfect chance to get a couple extra rides on some of your favourites!!! Also right next door is the Caribe water park, great fun too :-)

    Have a nice time!!

  2. I haven't been there for a few years, but i'm sure one day was fine when we went. (we only went to the theme park, not the water park)

It has its own train station, so you can get there by train (www.renfe.es) or bus (www.alsa.es)  You can also drive there and it has direct access from the motorway, there are instructions, in English, on their website.

For adults the park costs 42€ for one day, 62€ for two consecutive days, and 26,50€ for an evening ticket. Children/Senior tickets cost 33,50€, 50,50€ or 22€.

Evening tickets are valid  from 28/06/08 to 31/08/08 (from 19.00 to 24.00).

You can book tickets in advance on the website, however once you're in Spain I'd look around for products/newspapers with promotional offers to get a cheaper price.

  3. yes! i mean if it's rolercoasters you're looking for you can do them all at least twice. Even though it depends on the day! with regard to shows and smaller kiddie rides I still dont think u need more than a day.
