Can you do everything normally on an xbox 360 arcade edition as an xbox 360 pro?

yes its a core 360 with add ons such as a wireless controller instead of a wired one, hdmi port, and 5 arcade games.

Personally buy the pro, if your not and planning to buy the core, buy the arcade eddition for the sole fact of the hdmi port.

it would be a smart idea to

buy an extra hard drive.

yep. i have the arcade edition. its the exact same and will do the exact same , only difference-doesnt have a hardrive
