Can you do this with your PS3??

I was wondering if you can stand your PS3 up? Or does it have to sit down?

Yes your PS3 can either be vertically or horizontally positioned.

You can put it vertically, but it's better to place it in horizontal position. Here's why:

you can stand it up - there are even stands to support it vertically.

Proof of this is also how you can twist the PS logo the other way around.

Sitting down is better for ventilation purposes.

Standing up saves space.

Ever tried turning it upside down to block the vents? Fans go loopy and clean your system of dust. Not that you should though...

Yes you can stand it up, mine is in the up position right now. I actually think it is better for it to, since there are vents at the top of the system and you know heat rises. To me that seems like it would be better for it lol, but there is also a downside. It is more prone to falls this way....
