Can you down-grade form XP to Win 95?

YES but you have to of upgraded from windows 95 to xp. If not you will have to format the hardrive. Heres how to uninstall xp:

The only problem you may find is Win95 will not have drivers for your hardware & it could be a bit tricky to find them.

An alternative idea may be to use DOSBox to play the games on, I run it on an XP computer to play games that were  bought out for Win 3.1 / Win95. http://www.dosbox.com/

drivers could be a problem.    3 options

run in compatibility mode, right click icon, properties, and version or compatibility.

2 download virtual PC from microsoft(free) or VM ware (just become free)

and run a virtual machine

3 set up a duel boot system.

Your wasting your time because 95 couldn't run the hardware properly. The OS was capable of running the hardware of the day but not now with the advances in it.

Your better off finding an old computer with 95 or 98 on it.

The answer to your question is yes you can downgrade from xp to win 95  you need to format your hard drive and install win95.

Why  do you want to change from xp to win95 anyway its way outdated now  98 would be better than that

why would u want to downgrade? if you want then yes you can, although it would be hard to buy windows 95

Yes you can but why go back to the stone-age.

You would need to format your hard drive and use a floppy disk to supply setup files to enable CD player so you could load CD with Win 95 CD.

I am not saying that all the info is strictly correct but is a long time since I did it and you can always do searches to clarify any words or actions I have mentioned.

If you wanted to downgrade you'll find that windows 98,Me and 2000 are totally compatible with windows 95, I'm just thinking that 95'd be hard to get hold of.
