I read somewhere that you can't dream in stage 1,2 and 3, but you can dream in non REM sleep, and REM sleep.

I'm confused lol

  1. Well in Stage 1 sleep, it's really light, and there are certain things like "dreams", or more like hallucinations that happen, that are close to dreams but not exactly. You might be dreaming that youre "falling" or "running" at that stage, which are examples of what I've had.

Also there are 5 stages of sleep: Stage 4 is non REM sleep and the deepest. Stage 5 is REM sleep.

  2. I dont really know so sorry to asnwer this, however,

I find myself dreaming sometimes right before I wake up, and also sometimes as I am nodding off. Which is non REM sleep.
