  1. most casinos in most states allow you to, however in new mexico you are not allowed to drink or smoke on the floor. you have to go outside to smoke and you have to enter and stay in the bar area with alcoholic beverages


  2. Was only there once a couple of years ago, but IIRC yes. Most casinos allow (or rather, encourage) drinking for their gamblers - it helps their bottom line immensely. The only ones where you can't are those where the casino couldn't get a liquor license to begin with (for example, Turning Point in NY).
