Can you drive a car with a cracked transmission???

Thinking about buying a car with a cracked transmission, i just need to know if it is possible to drive said, and later replace the trans.????

yes you can, until all the tranny fluid leaks out and the gears seize up.  but until that point go ahead and drive it all you want

You would have to be cracked to buy it. Forget it and look for something else.
