can you drive a go kart in Tampa Florida streets be cause my moms bf told me when we move there from Chicago i can have a go kart i wanted to know was it legal to drive one

I know it is legal to have one in North FL! but driving it on the streets like the streets that cars drive on... ugh not so much... you can drive it on the side walk though!
