  1. The department of transportation has specific requirement for the vehicles on the roads. The requirements were put in place to provide safety . I remember learning to drive first on a small motorcycle. At the time motorcyles had to have at least 15 horse power to be driven on the highways. Thinking back, this probably saved my life. When your young, you tend to think of yourself as indistructable

  2. yes you can but  it is not safe.

  3. Find out what you state min speed limit is. if your going faster i think your ok to go!  PS...ithink that your mo ped at that speed is now called a motorcycle!  You have a lot of nerve eh?

  4. yeah, if you want to get hit by a semi.

  5. no moped r not mean for  the highway ,ur moped goes around 30-40 mph and ur averge car or turck is going 70-80mph. i say no. and  u can get a ticket for driving it on a highway.

  6. Sorry no.

Though I to know that it is possible to make a two-stroke 49cc go incredibly fast, but it's still just a 50cc machine. However, you could step up to a larger scooter to handle higher speeds, but yeah, I know, where's the fun in that?

How about a 50cc engine at 100MPH? Check out the link below.
