Can you drive forlifts on roads with only a fortklift licence?

  1. In some circumstances you can yes.

    The forklift must be road registered and you will need both licenses (forklift & car).

    This doesn't mean you can drive it down to the shops though.


  2. If you just have a forklift licence, you can only drive a forklift on private property.

    You can't drive on a road or road related area - places like car parks, lane-ways etc, basically wherever members of the public can walk.
