  1. Yes you may. American citizens with a valid state operators licence do not need anything else. It's a reciprocal agreement. I can drive in the USA with a valid provincial license.

The only problem is our metric system. May I remind you that 100 kilometres an hour is not the same as 100 miles per hour. So many of your fellow citizens can't seem to differentiate between the two.

    100 KPH = 61.2 MPH

Enjoy your visit. I always enjoy visiting your country.

  2. IS LIKE SAYING CAN U DRIVE IN MEXICO WITH A US DRIVERS PERMIT? L0L

  3. "Lover not a Fighter" is absolutely correct. The misconception is that you can drive anywhere with a learners permit.  You CAN NOT.  An instruction permit is ONLY valid in the state that issued it.

  4. The LEARNER's permit is for learning - not driving around.  They are only recognized in the state it is issued (not even in any other of the 50 states).  Forget the different country like canada.

    Good Luck...

  5. No. I think you might need a passport because Canada is a different country and you are entering it from another country.  It is like flying from USA to China, except you would only drive from the US to Canada.
