  1. You cannot drown from drinking water. To drown the water must enter your lungs. The only way to die from drinking water is by drinking way too much way too fast.

We can easily drink 2 gallons a day, or more without any problems, especially when fasting. It is when we drink a large amount very quickly that causes our body to not to be able to adjust to the imbalance that too much water would cause.

Typically too much water will be excreted pretty quickly or if more extreme even cause vometing water. It is beyond that when it can be dangerous.

  2. You drown by taking water into your lungs.  So if you're drinking water and it is going in your lungs.................yeah.

However there is such a thing as drinking too much water and your body not being able to handle it...  it's called hyperhydration, you can easily Google it.

  3. You cant drown but you can die, yes it is hyperhydration but can be fatal---Water intoxication (also known as hyperhydration or water poisoning) is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain function that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by water.[1] Normal, healthy (both physically and nutritionally) individuals have little to worry about accidentally consuming too much water. Nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water drinking contests, in which individuals attempt to consume more than 3 gallons (10 litres) of water over the course of just a few minutes, or long bouts of intensive exercise during which electrolytes are not properly replenished, yet massive amounts of fluid are still consumed.

so dont drink that much because you can shut your body down and drown inside your blood.

    two points !

  15. No. The term drowning is when water enters your lungs, suffocating you. As far as i'm concerend when you drink water, it does not go into your lungs, that is unless you inhale it. You would probably be going to the bathroom alot between 1000 glasses of water in one day and it would not all be in you at once.
