Can you dye a marijuana plant with food coloring?

in grade school, we put celery in water colored with food coloring to show how it absorbs or something... i know you see where im going.... can i add lets say a little blue food coloring to my watering cans and get blue tinted plants?

  1. The dye would not necessarily be able to cross the cell membranes to be transported to the leaves.  You would have to cut the stems from the plants and insert the cut ends into the blue, water-soluble dye.

    Be careful!  Possession of cannabis is illegal regardless of the color of the leaves!
