Can you dye black hair red?

I wanna dye my hair reddd from kool aid.

Don't got no bleach.

So is that possibleee???

i dont wanna waste the kool aid.

yeah but it depends on how bright the red is otherwise ur hair may turn a darker red. and NO clothing bleach will BURN UR HAIR OFF like literally burn it off u will be bald

you can't dye black hair red from kool-aid are you kidding me? however, you CAN dye your hair red with red hair dye. red is a stronger color than black. TRUST ME you won't need to bleach your hair for red streaks. when i went to get highlights in my hair and i had black hair the stylist told me the only color she could put in my hair without bleaching it was red.

If your hair is black and you wanna die it red, then no, it's not possible. You would have to bleach it first and you said you didnt have any. I would buy some. It probably is possible to dye your hair with clothing bleach but it's probably really stupid too, i wouldn't do it if i were you.

and no you cant die black to red, you need to bleach or peroxide it blonde first then add the color to it.

i think it will be a long process though

maybe lighten your hair month by month like with something that naturally lightens it. maybe a conditioner that your leave in and walk outside and it will lighten your hair naturally.

then you should b able to color it with it lookin natural ^_^

or ask the person who does your hair

yes you can. but without bleach? it might cost more. go see a professional stylist. and by professional stylist, i mean somebody who is ACTUALLY A STYLIST. not one of those fat ghetto women who sew weaves on to other ghetto girls heads that call themselves 'stylists'.

no it wont work unless your hair is light, and let me tell you that bleaching your hair from black will cause a h**l of a lot of problems.

and you dont want to waste kool aid, their only like 45 cents a package lol!

- no silly, CLOTHING bleach is for clothes, and if you use clothing bleach your hair will break out, and you`ll be hairless;

and yes, you can color black hair with kool aid; for at least 24 hour;

Go to a salon to prelighten your hair!  Clorox is not the same type of bleach stylists use - not at all

I think if you actually dip your head in a bowl of ketchup you might find you have more success. You could also add pickles and mustard as a garnish. It will bring new meaning to the phrase "meat head."

Go to a stylist and they can bleach out the black and apply reddish highlights over it.

um most likely u shouldent use cloths bleach or it might really mess up your hair but u can just buy red hair dye or go to the haircut place than they will do it for u :P
