  1. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!

  2. Ohh good grief If I had a dollar for everytime someone said no you shouldnt do that while your pregnant I would be rich lol...

I dyed my hair 8 years ago when I was pregnant and my daughter was healthy as ever. My doc okayed it. As long as your not sitting int he fumes. I personally put the dye on my hair, I used the Herbal Essence its a more natural dye and sat outside on the porch and walked around, that way i was in the fresh air and didnt inhale the fumes.

During the first trimester its a complete nono but then again so is most of everything else unless you dont know your preggers.

And most of the hair dyes out there now will tell you on the box if its ok to use while pregnant some of them actually say DO NOT USE if prego, but there are some that dont have it. Look for a safe one. if you go to a stylist tell her your preggo before you go, that way she knows ahead of time.

    Good luck with the baby!

  3. You can dye your hair when you are pregnant. The amount of chemical that leaches into the system is harmless.

  4. Hi, it is totally safe, just let your hairdresser know that you are pregnant.  Hair dye used to contain chemicals that could be harmfull but havent for a very long time.  I had mine done twice last pregnancy and my hairdresser is comming round to do mine tonight!

    (the fumes are also harmless)

  5. no never.

    it kan damage the babii

  6. Just for the fact so many are saying you can't I wouldn't take the chance. You never know and its not worth harming your baby.

  7. sorry hun...you should wait. its not good for the baby

  8. My best friend and next door neighbor is just going into her third trimester and also wanted to dye her hair.  She talkedto her doctor like, two or three weeks ago and he assured her it was fine.  When I was pregnant (12 years ago) they didn't recommend it, but today they say it's fine!  Ask your doctor if your really concerned.  Only HE or SHE knows your situation best.  (High risk, ect)  Good Luck! and Congrats!!!

  9. Nope you can't dye your hair, wait til after the baby is born.

  10. You can't dye your hair in the first trimester because hair dye does penetrate and you don't want to harm any critical development. Hair dying is not recommended at all, but it's an absolute must-not-do-it during your first trimester

  11. u can't it do damage wait another month u got 1 left lol

  12. Baby you not bimbo blond your a very s**y pregnant mother who does not need to dye her hair maybe just a boob job!! Joking!!!!!!!

  13. i would ask your dr about it. i have heard that the change in your hormones will affect the way that the dye works on your hair too, you might be better off waiting until baby is born

  14. Yes, you can dye your hair.  I did for all of my kids after asking my doctor and ringing the Clairol helpline about it.  It made me feel better in myself, and the fumes never made me nauseous.  Just take the same precautions of ventilating the room, and doing the allergy test that you would normally do.  Doctors USED to advise against it before it was tested, but not now.  Hey, they also used to tell mothers to sleep babies on their fronts, but now they know that's not correct either.  Dye your hair if you want.

  15. Yes, it is safe to dye your hair while your pregnant.  Just make sure you let your stylist know that you are pregnant.  The biggest problem that many women have is the fumes and the smell bothering women and making them nauseaus.  The one thing I would never do is a perm, just because of the smell.  The other problem is if the stylist puts you under the dryer that can make you sick as well just from the heat.  Just be careful about that.  My other suggestion would be to bring a small snack in case you get hungry, ask the stylist (or bring your own) clear soda or bottle of water.  The other problem women have is the prenatal vitamins making their hair grow very rapidly, so dye your hair a color where your roots wont show as bad when it grows out, because it will probably grow a lot faster.  I work at a salon, and am pregnant, along with a receptionist and another stylist, and if we didnt dye our hair, or couldnt dye other people's hair, trust me we would all probably be fired.  I hope your hair turns out great!!!
