Can you e-mail sheet music to someone?

I'm writing a song for someone, and I was wondering if there was a way for me to e-mail her the sheet music?

If you're writing it on paper:

1. scan the paper (make sure it's a high quality scan)

2. find the image on your computer

3. attach the image to the email and send

If you're typing the music using a software, you have 2 options.

option 1. use this option if your friend also has the same software.

1. attach the file to the email and send.

option 2. use this option if your friend does not have the same software. first, open the document so that you see the whole first page of the music.

1. press the "print screen" button on your computer (looks like "prt sc")

2. open an image software such as paint or photoshop

3. press ctrl+v to paste

4. edit the image

5. save the image on your computer (preferably using the jpeg format)

6. attach the file to the email

7. follow directions 1-6 above for all pages of your music

8. send email
