Can you easily move a gas boiler furnace to another area in your home?

It depends on the layout.

If you have not had any maintanace done you could do that and ask for a price to move.

Most free estimates are reserved for when they are quoting new equipment so not all contractors will come out for free.

It depends on if you can easily run gas and water lines to it in the new location. It could be pricey.

A prime component of the gas furnace is the flue, (exhaust chimney for the burned gas and carbon monoxide).

This flue must have 'draft' to function properly and is a safety critical component of the system.

If a gas furnace is 'relocated', it must be done by a licensed professional.
