Can you eat roosters that are two years old or are they just to tuff to mess with?

I have two roosters that just turned two years old i have tried giving them away and did give some away but im down to two and would like to know if they can still be slaughtered and eaten .

I think if you prepare them the right way they should be okay.  Look up mutton recipes.  

Isn't it funny that these whack job bird lovers think it's okay to keep a wild animal as a "pet" and to clip a birds wings and put it in a cage, but not to eat a bird?

u can give it a shot but keep this in mind

the chickens that are bred for meat (broilers) are killed and sold at 6 weeks and think how soft and tender they are *druel*

now u want to eat ur 2 year old roosters...WOW

i dnt know how it will turn out but yer....

u can look up recipes for tenderising chicken but thats all i can do
