  1. not at all

  2. Yes, you can eat them... But if you don't make sure they are chewed enough they could cause intestinal damage (IE: You wouldn't want pineapple spikes tearing your GI Tract).

Fruits like apples, pears, kiwis, tomatoes etc, you can eat them with the skins on with no worries.

But, if you may want to peel your banana's and pineapples ;-)

  3. no,well you can if you wanted to i suppose but kinda gross

most people don't eat the skins on those fruits you have mention

  4. As a general rule of thumb...you can eat most fruits that have soft but not fuzzy skins...lie peaches, plums and apples but not kiwis...and can't eat hard skins like oranges, pinapples nor pomogranates.  Hope that this helps.

  5. everything but kiwi. all of the others would just be bitter.

  6. Yes you CAN but should you? Not all, but some, yes. ex: apples, pears, plums.

  7. I have eaten the skin of oranges, kiwis, and limes and lemons...so I guess they are okay...some are not good but will not harm you.

  8. you can, but it won't taste too good

  9. No man, a lot of different fruit skins are too fibrous and would mess your digestion up

  10. you can eat the skin on

    apples

    kiwis

    pears

    grapes [all berries]

  11. technically ... probably yes.  But I will keep discarding the peel of my mango  :)

  12. Citrus peel called "zest" is often added to cooked dishes.

  13. For the most part yes.  Not all of them taste all that good, but you can eat most.

The fruits I can think of off the top of my head that you can't would be pineapple and coconut.  Your jaw probably isn't strong enough for either.

I can't think of any other.

    Oh yeah, Pomegranates.

  14. sure--- dont know that i would want to--kiwi is considered a berry

  15. not kiwi though

  16. wow...knawing on the "skin" of a cocnut..

  17. na you wouldnt want to eat the skin of a pineapple

  18. Yes you can eat the skins of almost all fruits. Some are bitter and others taste funny. Most people just eat the meat of the fruit. Pineapples and coconut  skins are not eaten for obvious reason. Some people are allergic to Mango skins, and people do not eat the thin skins of non citrus fruits and melons. I eat the apple with the skin on and my wife wants the apple peeled. I have always been told that water melon rind would make you sick, but I have fed water melon rinds to horses for years with no ill effect. When I had pigs I fed all kitchen trimmings to them, except meat.

  19. Yeah i guess lol but why would  you ...Yuck orange peelings are nasty ! o____O

  20. i wouldnt eat pineapple, banana, kiwi, and a couple others.

  21. Not anymore, all skins really bother my stomach.  I have to peel everything.

  22. I do

  23. No... i cant eat the skins of fruits you mentioned.

  24. sure - if you don't mind pulling thick banana skin out of your teeth later...

  25. Kiwi?  It's hairy!  Even if it is safe to eat I don't see how you could stomach the fuzz.....yuck

  26. i suppose you could but i wouldn't want to eat a banana peel, or a pineapple peel or lots of other peels like a peach. cooked and made into a jelly but not raw. i don't think my stomach could hold it down.

  27. not oranges cuz its sore!

  28. No can't eat skins of all fruits cause some fruits can cause your throat to be sore, like pineaple skin unless otherwise

  29. Pretty much, just about any fruit that is non-poisonous has a non-poisonous skin, but some don't taste as good as others (oranges, lemons, bananas...sick).  Just make sure to wash them!

  30. You can.... but some are not advisable.

  31. They might not taste good, but they are entirely edible.  I think they are mostly fiber, don't quote me on that though.
