  1. Rice is a bad idea after having a tooth pulled, but the fish is probably ok as long as it doesn't hurt you too much to chew.

  2. It doesn't matter if you ate sushi or any other type of solids.  If you had a few bites, then, you had a few bites.  Just don't try to eat any more solids for the mean time, until your wisdom teeth sores heal up or you get the "OK" to do so.  Even if your right cheek is kinda sore, don't worry about it.  Your cheek wouldn't be sore because of consuming solids.  If anything, your jaw would be sore, because they are literally yanking your teeth from your jaw bone. (ouch!)  If your right cheek is sore, let it be, it wouldn't be due to you eating sushi.

All that stuff about eating rice, sushi after having your wisdom teeth taken out is really not that serious.  As long as you follow the proper precautions about rinsing your mouth out and preventing any infection, you'll be fine.  It's no different than eating a bite of steak and ALL OF A SUDDEN coming down with mad cow's disease.  Proper aftercare after having your wisdom teeth pulled is FINE enough, don't worry!  We're all allowed to stray once in a while.

    Good luck!
