Question:

Can you edit transition lenses out of a picture?

My husband has transition lenses. We always forget when we're outside taking photos. Is there any way (In Picasa perhaps?) to edit a picture so the transitions do not show. To somehow lighten the glasses. If so, how do I do it? He looks like a dork from the 70's!!!

  1. It depends on how dark they are.  If they're so dark you can't see any detail at all in his eyes, then just lightening them up won't work.  You might be able to fix it if you have a similar picture of him without his glasses.  You could then copy the eyes from that one over to the one with glasses.  Make sure the lighting is similar in the picture.

  2. a really good photoshopper *might* be able to,   but there is NO WAY to do it with Picasa...
