Can you ever really find true LOVE?

I was living with my 8 month old son's father for over a year off and on and one time he left us for 2 weeks and come backand said he never want's to leave us again only to leave us again 3 weeks ago. I ask the question only to find out if men can so heartless.

Yes you can find true love. A good marriage takes work and commitment. It is fruitless to live with someone and to say it's the same as marriage.  When you truly love someone you want their best interest to be first in your life. That means laying down what you want and reaching out to them. True love will be reciprocated. If someone only takes advantage of your love then it is not pure nor true. Hold yourself to higher expectation and moral and you will find what you are looking for. We get out of life what we put in to it. It is worth it in the long run too. I was married thirty years (although all were not perfect) to the most wonderful, selfless man in the world who died suddenly this year. I will never be the same. But I know I had true love.

Yes, men can be that heartless.  Some people have little or conscience.  It is up to you to protect yourself and your child from what is sure to be more heartbreak. Raising your son in a healthy environment is the most important thing you will ever do.  Remember that not all men are like your son's father, but he has shown twice what kind of person he is.
