Can you exchange a motorcyle if the insurance ends up being higher than what was quoted at the dealer?

i called progressive, geico, esurance, and allstate and they all gave me a quote of over 2400.00 but the dealer quoted me 900.00.

What made you think the dealer would have any clue?They just want to make a sale and they will say anything to get one.They have no clue as to your driving record so there's no way they could tell you.You could talk to the sales manager but i'm afraid he is not going to do anything.It never hurts to talk to them though.If he says no tell ok but i'm sure gonna tell my friends that were thinking of buying bikes to go somewhere else.You could also ask for the regional sales manager's phone number and run it by him.

No bikers here?I've probably been riding since before you were born.

Why didn't you get a quote from all those places BEFORE you purchased? I seriously doubt you are going to get anything. You could try suing for bait and switch but considering it was a quote and nothing set in stone I think you are out of luck.

In the State of VA you have 24-72 hrs to return a new vehicle for any reason.

I once new a girl that bought a new mustang and returned it the next day when she learned that she could not afford the insurance.

It depends on your state and the laws they have to protect consumers.

You can also look for companies that specialize in motorcycle ins. if any exist in ur state.
