Can you expediate a passport after application has been passed in?

I turned in my app. last friday, and foolishly forgot that I didn't ask for a faster processing time. Can I still request it? I'm leaving for Egypt towards the end of July (25th) and I really need it soon, obviously.

they are processing routine applications in less than four weeks from the time of application.
